Oktoberfest at III Forks
Contributed by: Penny Sheltz on 10/9/2009

On the first Tuesday of each month, lll Forks Steakhouse has a wine tasting but Tuesday, October 6, they were celebrating Oktoberfest with great beers from Brown Distributors.
Everyone enjoyed Beck's Dark, with a sweet malt character and a taste of roasted nuts, and Michelob Marzen a fairly dark amber.
One of the favorites was Jack's Pumpkin Spice Ale, by Anheuser Busch under the Michelob label brewed with farm grown pumpkins, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves to a 5.5%. It smells so good like sweet pumpkin pie and spices.
Guests also sampled Beck's Oktoberfest with a clear bronze color with a malty sweet hint of apple and roasted nuts.To complement the beers, the III Forks chef provided German sausage, potato salad and cheeses.
III Forks located in Midtown off PGA Blvd, West of Military Trail, is a sophisticated club-like ambiance with an elegant bar and lounge and is located at 4645 PGA Blvd Palm Beach Gardens Tel: (561) 630-3660: From thick signature cuts of USDA Prime Beef to ocean-fresh fish and buttery lobster, the food at III Forks is perfectly prepared. Anthony Curatola is the new Proprietor and very gracious to guests..
