Community Dog Wash Fundraiser at Abacoa

"Every Dog Has Its Day " Grooming Spa in the Abacoa Town Center had a Community Dog Wash and Fundraiser to benefit Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and Friends of Jupiter Beach, Oct 25 at Abacoa #116 on Main Street in Jupiter. Phone 370 3945.
Friends of Jupiter Beach achieved a milestone on their October 3 beach cleanup, by reaching the 20,000 pound garbage milestone and record-tying 300 volunteers

The Peggy Adams Petmobile had animals available for adoption during the event and there was a silent auction.

Representatives from Greyhound Pets of America was there with 6 beautiful ex-racing Greyhounds. They are the largest single breed adoption group in the world.

Carol Bowes and Nancy Polites from CCI,Canine Companions for Independence, was at the event providing exceptional dogs for exceptional people. Their organization helps create life-changing independence for people with disabilities.

Sculptor Kate VanNoorden with her husband Stanley Zerner had her wonderul dog sculptures at the Dog Wash.

Genice MacDonald, the owner of "Every Dog Has Its Day" with her husband Todd hope to have this event each year.
