Contributed by: holly policy on 11/14/2007

On the weekend of October 26th,the Girl Scout Gold Alliance met at Girl Scout Camp Welaka to share fellowship, sing songs and make new memories.

The Gold Alliance consists of Girl Scout alumni who gather to share their Girl Scout experiences with new and old alumni alike.

Their weekend excursion consisted of sleeping in cabins and making food right on the fire. On Saturday, they joined other adult Girl Scouts in a workshop called "Songs We Used to Sing," which focuses on songs that were sung at camp when they were young Girl Scouts.

The ladies then canoed up the Loxahatchee River for an afternoon adventure.

Participating in this weekend event were: Claudet Benton, Sandra Clutter, Sharon Kohn, Joanne White, Sister Laura Cavanaugh, Natalie Gustafson, Laura Kerr, Ersilla Moreno, Pat O'Connor, Lori Steiner and Kim Engle.
