Abacoa Town Center Has Activities to Beat the Heat
Contributed by: Rachel Shapiro on 6/18/2008

With summer in full swing, tenants at Abacoa Town Center offer many fun activities for Abacoa residents. Adults, children and even dogs will delight in the summertime festivities.

Every Tuesday is family night at Abacoa Town Center. Kids will enjoy a free bounce house located along Town Center Drive. Then from 5 to 8 p.m., they can eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée at participating Abacoa Town Center restaurants.

At the same restaurants, owners can enjoy outdoor dining when accompanied by a four-legged friend on Wednesday nights during the weekly Yappy Hour. Dogs receive the royal treatment with doggie dining deals. Proceeds benefit Safe Harbor Animal Rescue.

Cruise on in to Abacoa Town Center for a weekly car show every Thursday night. Enjoy hot rods and cool music from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. with DJ Donnie at this event sponsored by JJ Muggs.

Feel cool night air with free concerts every Saturday night. Enjoy the live entertainment as local musicians perform classic rock, reggae or jazz from 7 to 10 p.m. along Town Center Drive.

"We are becoming known as the place to be and be seen this summer," said Stephanie Scambler Young, marketing director at Abacoa Town Center. "As a community partner we want to offer residents a destination that's filled with entertainment options the entire family can enjoy."

Abacoa Town Center is located on Town Center Drive next to Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.
