JUPITER, FLA - Atlantic Arts Academy will be offering registration for the 2009-10 school year on August 10 th - 14 th from 10 to 6pm. Atlantic Arts offers classes in dance, theater, voice and musical instruments; including guitar, drums, piano, trumpet and flute. Classes are offered for ages two to adults with availability throughout the week to fit any schedule. Dance classes include instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern and character. Theater classes include instruction in Scene Study, Improvisation, Film & TV and Musical Theater.

The Atlantic Arts Academy is a fully air-conditioned, 9,000 square foot facility; including 4 large dance studios, fully equipped with professional sound equipment, mirrors and floating cushioned floors to provide the utmost in safety and quality to all of our students; a studio, used exclusively for vocal classes is equipped with sound system, mirrors and piano; a 200 Seat Theater used exclusively for drama classes is equipped with full professional lighting and sound system, 1000 sq foot stage, and 200 cushioned seats set in a stadium style format. Atlantic Arts is also home to Atlantic Dance Theater, a not for profit youth dance company.

About Atlantic Dance Theater

The Atlantic Dance Theater was founded in 2008 with several objectives in mind. First is to offer the community the opportunity to experience a variety of performing arts and by so doing educate the public to appreciate music, dance and theater. The second objective is to offer pre-professional students an opportunity to perform their craft in a professional environment including professional theaters with all the technical aspects and an audience. Finally, the Atlantic Dance Theater was created to offer the underserved groups in our community the chance to experience performing arts that would normally be out of reach due to logistic and/or financial issues.
