MIX & MINGLE AT THE E-QUALITY OF LIFE FUNDRAISER
TRIM-A-TREE FOR ACCESSIBILITY BRUNCH

November 2007 Jupiter, FL -- The E-Quality of Life Foundation, Inc celebrates the holidays with the First Annual "Trim-A-Tree for Accessibility Brunch" fundraising event to be held Sunday, Dec 2nd at the Jupiter Beach Resort Hotel & Spa from Noon-3pm.
The E-Quality of Life's mission is to improve the quality of life for the physically challenged by addressing accessibility issues and providing solutions through the installation and maintenance of power automated door openers. More than 18% of the population in the United States is physically challenged and faces entry barriers on a daily basis. E-Quality of Life creates awareness within the community through education as to this very special real and overlooked issue.
Trim-A-Tree for Accessibility is sponsored by AAADM (Association of American Automated Door Manufacturers).
The Keynote Speaker is Larry M. Schneider; AIA has been involved with accessibility codes for the State of Florida since 1985. He is currently on the AIA committee that creates the national guidelines for accessibility compliance and use. He is an active member of the AIA, the ICC, the Florida Fire Marshals & Inspectors Association, the Building Officials Association of Florida, NFPA, the National Association of ADA Coordinators and the American Association of People with Disabilities.
The Master of Ceremony is Mike Caruso from WPEC-TV Channel 12 in West Palm Beach where he is currently a producer, director, and reporter. Mike Caruso has an indeterminate neuromuscular disorder which he has had since birth. He uses a power wheelchair.
The Honorary Chairperson is Susan Arena, ASID Founder and President of the E-Quality of Life Foundation Inc. Accomplished Interior Designer and business owner, Commercial Pilot, Patent Owner, Retired United Airlines' Flight Attendant.
The Trim-A-Tree for Accessibility event will feature a festival of holiday trees at the Jupiter Beach Resort on Sunday, December 3 from Noon-1pm open to the public. On display will be over 10 decorated trees, designed and decorated by local community businesses as well as local nonprofit organizations. The event will begin with a seated brunch followed by the Keynote speaker, and a special video presentation about the accomplishments by E-Quality of Life Foundation ending with raffle prizes, and tree auction.
