Food and Fun at Abacoa July 4th Celebration

Food and Fun will be plentiful at this years July 4th Celebration at Abacoa Town Center. Really hungry eventgoers will have fun at the Rooney's Pub "Apple Pie Eating " Contest which starts at 5:30pm. Eighteen lucky participants will have the chance to down an apple pie at Rooney's with prizes going to those that eat the fastest. All American Fare will include JJ Muggs Hamburgers, Woody's Coney Island Hot Dogs, Naturer's Way snow cones, cotton candy, Costello's Fresh Pizza and the" now famous" Cooks Inc. Hot Cider Doughnuts!

The traditional childrens bike parade will go parade down Town Center Drive at 5:30pm with registration starting as early as 5:00 pm at the fountain.

Oogles and Googles will present a Free Kids Zone on the ampitheater with favorites like Tug-a-war and relays starting at 5pm. Vendors will line the streets for a little shopping fun too! Eventgoers will enjoy a live dj starting at 4pm with headliner "Sideshow" appearing from 6-9pm on the ampitheater.

Fireworks will follow at Roger Dean stadium following their 6:05 Baseball game. Roger Dean Stadium will be offering a kids "megazone" featuring ten inflatables included in a special ticket price. The stadium will also be presenting a "Tribute to Journey" Concert immediately following the fireworks. " For Details at Roger Dean Stadium call (561) 775-1818.

The party continues throughout the night with a live band "The Saimons" appearing at Rooneys Public House and a live DJ at Jumby Bay.The late night fun continues at JJ Muggs.

If you are looking to get away from the crowd, Nature's Way, Jumby Bay,Le Metro Bistro, Cooks Inc.,Rooney's Pub, Costello's Pizza and JJ Muggs will each be open for regular dining on the 4th of July. www.abacoatowncenter.com
