This weekend The Rotary Club of Jupiter-Tequesta sponsored the 6th annual Holiday Craft Festival along A1A in Juno Beach. According to festival chairman Jerry Rupar, "this years festival was one of the best ever, the weather was perfect and the crowds were in a buying mood". In addition to the large selection of arts and crafts on sale this event serves a second and yet equally important function. The Holday Craft Festival is the big fund raiser of the year for the Rotary Club of Jupiter Tequesta. The money raised here in the community will stay in the community serving local projects at the Boyscout camp, the Stars reading program at Jupiter Elementary, the dictionary project, and the holiday meals program. The Rotary Club of Jupiter Tequesta consists of approximately 60 local volunteers, civic leaders, and local business owners who meet weekly. You do not need to be a Rotarian to volunteer. Upcoming projects include a renovation project at the local Boyscount camp, the holiday meal distribution and canned food drive. To learn more about Rotary or to donate please log on to the local Rotary website at

or contact Marianne Kollmer at Seacoast National Bank (561-741-4912).

We brought the whole family to the Craft Festival on Saturday. The weather was perfect and the vendors had a great variety to offer. Looking forward to next year!

My wife and I enjoyed the Craft Festival on Sunday. It was a beautiful day. There was a big crowd. We enjoyed the different vendors and found some great holiday gifts. The Jupiter-Tequesta Rotary put on a great show. Thank you for a fun day.
