Jupiter resident named 'Instructor of the Year' at Suffolk Construction

West Palm Beach, Fla. (April 28, 2008) - Suffolk Construction, one of Florida's largest construction management firms, announced that Todd Ripley was selected as 'Instructor of the Year' for the company's Red & Blue Corporate University.

Ripley, a Jupiter resident and chief estimator at Suffolk Construction, earned the award based upon five key criteria that include professionalism, hard work, integrity, passion, and mastery of subject matter and technical skills.

All 46 instructors of Red & Blue Corporate University were evaluated and considered for the award. Ninety percent of the instructors are Suffolk Construction employees, with the remaining staff coming from the University of Florida, Florida Atlantic University and consulting firms.

Ripley was announced as the winner of this year's award before 200 of his co-workers during the company's annual corporate update held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. He was presented with a trophy and a trip for two to Las Vegas including airfare and lodging at the five-star Wynn Hotel.
