Safe Harbor Receives $25,000 from Retired Dial CEO

Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary & Hospital's Executive Director Kay-Lynette Roca recently received a $25,000 donation from Herb and Karen Baum of Jupiter. Mr. Baum is the retired Chairman, President and CEO of The Dial Corporation of Scottsdale, Ariz.

"We are extremely grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Baum for their generous support of our no-kill facility," said Roca. "It has not been a secret that Safe Harbor has suffered some tremendous financial set-backs this year. This extraordinary gift of $25,000 will have a significant impact on helping us continue our mission of assisting abandoned, neglected and abused animals."

"We are pleased to share our financial support with Safe Harbor," said Mr. Baum. "My wife and I are tremendous animal lovers - particularly cats - and we are very impressed with the way Safe Harbor is managed and operated."

There are currently 42 dogs and 156 cats available for adoption in Safe Harbor's shelter. Cost to adopt a dog or cat is $90.00 and includes all the animal's vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping.
