Many scholarships were awarded at the Jupiter Community High School Senior Awards ceremony, parents generously opening their pocket book to memorializing their child, but John's was earned by donations, one dollar at a time.

With great pleasure, the Board of Directors for Memorial Scholarships would like to announce Holden Richbell received this year's $3000 Senior Award. Holden played 4 years of football at Jupiter Community High School and will be attending Florida Gulf Coast University in the fall.

Last year's recipient, Jillian Sweet, awards Holden Richbell the 2007-2008 John Yancy Memorial Scholarship.

The criteria for this award is; a graduating senior of Jupiter Community High School, a grade point, volunteer hours and 4 years of participation in the same activity; athletics, drama or art.
