School Supply Drive to Help N. Palm Beach Children
Contributed by: Jamie Jackson on 7/18/2008

In preparation for the upcoming school year, Seacoast National Bank is working with Club 100 Charities and the Palm Beach County Police Athletic League (PAL) to collect and distribute supplies for North Palm Beach County's underprivileged children.

Donated supplies can be dropped off during business hours through August 1, at four Seacoast National Bank locations: 585 W. Indiantown Rd., Jupiter; 710 N. U.S. Highway One, Tequesta; 3305 Northlake Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens; and 3001 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens.

Needs vary from the typical pencils, pens, erasers, binders and notebook paper to backpacks, USB flash drives, and scientific/graphical TI calculators. A complete list of needed supplies is available at the four Seacoast locations.

Monetary donations of any amount are also gratefully accepted. The estimated costs to fully outfit a child at the beginning of the school year are $40 for Grades 1-3, $50 for Grades 4-5 and $60 for Grades 6-8. Checks should be payable to P.A.L. with a note in the memo section indicating "Seacoast - School Supply Drive".

The operating arm of Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida (NASDAQ: SBCF) Seacoast National Bank has 42 offices in Florida and approximately $2.4 billion in assets, and is one of the largest independent banks headquartered in Florida.
