Young Artists Receive Awards

Wednesday evening Kindergarten through 5th grade students crowded into Lighthouse Center for the Arts to receive awards for their outstanding creative creations andsponsored by Jupiter Tequesta Junior Women's Club. Other community supported awards were also presented including the Evelyne Bates Creative Clay Award, the Gorman awards, North County Artists Association Awards and the Silk Wildlife Awards.

The Junior Women's Club will award to not only this group but also on Thursday to the 6th through 12th grade winners, over $1,000 for the students achievements. Attendees enjoyed punch, cookies,vegetableand cheese trays that were served by this community based women's group.

Awards will to the 6th through 12th grade students will happen tonight, Thursday, the 8th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and the students artwork will remain on exhibit until May 30th.
