BPW/Jupiter New Member Orientation

The Business & Professional Women/Jupiter held a new member orientation on Monday, May 5, 2008 hosted by Tony Oliva of Financial Advantage Services. Nicole Payne,2nd Vice President/Membership Chair, presided over the event and is looking forward to another successful year for BPW/Jupiter. Presentations were given by all of the incoming officers for 2008-2009 as well as two past presidents. Each presentation briefly described the advantages and benefits of membership in the local organization. Members that are to be thanked for their donations and support are Larabee Johnson,Patricia Persante, Lucky Doolittle, Julie Heuer,Larabee Johnson, Tony Oliva,and Angela Vagell. Of the 23 attendees,BPWnow has 4 new members.

BPW's goal is to be the leading advocate for working women and it's mission is to achieve equity for women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information. BPW/Jupiter meets the 4th Monday of the month at Mangrove Bay in Jupiter at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Peggy Sutton 561-575-1270
