El Sol's Jocelyn Sabbagh Wins Promotion

Jocelyn Sabbagh has been named Center Coordinator for El Sol, Jupiter's Neighborhood Resource Center.
Ms. Sabbagh was the first staff-member hired by the non-profit El Sol Center in August of 2007 when she began as office coordinator for both El Sol and Corn Maya, a Hispanic outreach organization. In her new position as Center Coordinator she will be responsible for coordinating all of El Sol's programs and services in addition to handling other administrative duties.
"Jocelyn's peformance has been outstanding and her dedicated efforts greatly facilitated the smooth transition of our organization as the operator of the Neighborhood Resource Center from Catholic Charities," said El Sol board member Jill Hanson.
Ms. Sabbagh is a native of Guatemala and a 2007 honors graduate of Florida Atlantic University's Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College where she received a BA degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies. She and her husband Jeremy reside in Jupiter.
El Sol operates a day labor program that matches Jupiter workers with employers to fill jobs, in addtion to providing various ancillary programs including English classes, job training,computer skills and parenting classes, plus others. The Center is open seven days a week and its services are free. for information about hring workers or volunteering call 745-9860.
