Volunteer Opportunities Available for 2007 ADT Championship
Applications being accepted online
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The 2007 ADT Championship at Trump International Golf Club, Nov. 13-18, is now accepting volunteer applications online at
www.adtchampionship.com.
It takes more than 600 volunteers to successfully host the LPGA's ADT Championship, which features a $1,550,000 purse with the winner taking home a $1 million paycheck, the largest first-place prize in the history of women's golf. The ADT Championship will also feature three days of playoffs with a cut after 36 holes. Players start with a fresh scorecard for the third round, which ends with another cut. A final-day shoot-out with the remaining eight players will have them, again, starting with a fresh scorecard for their chance at the $1 million winner's check.
The cost to volunteer is $65 and in return, volunteers receive great perks including two volunteer ADT Championship polo shirts, a choice of an ADT Championship hat or visor, one volunteer parking pass which can be used all week long, complimentary breakfast and lunch on the days volunteers are scheduled to work, five any-day passes and one Championship Sunday Grounds pass, a commemorative ADT Championship label pin and an opportunity to purchase ADT Championship outerwear at a discounted price.
