Troop 751 volunteers at Riverbend Park
Contributed by: Tom Cunningham on 6/21/2008

Volunteers from Boy Scout Troop 751 in Jupiter Farms worked on their community service hours on Saturday, May 17th, 2008 at Riverbend Park in Jupiter. The park had planted 3,000 cypress and pine trees three years ago. Due to budget cuts, park rangers needed volunteers to help remove the stakes and straps from the trees, so the straps wouldn't constrict growth. Life Scout Andrew Cunningham coordinated the effort with Riverbend Park rangers and Troop 751.

The Boy Scouts who participated were Bryce Bentz, Chris Burst, Matt Burst, Robert Tucker, Nathan Tucker, Evan McLean and Andrew Cunningham. Volunteer adult scout leaders were Tom Burst, Scoutmaster Rodney Tucker, Tom Cunningham, Mark McLean and Bob Bentz.
