16 th Annual Fishing Tournament - June 2-3, 2007

The Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Association of Realtors® announcesits 16th Annual Fishing Tournament June 2nd and 3rd, 2007. This is a family fun event limited to 60 vessels. (Sorry, no commercial or charter vessels apply). Partial proceeds raised from this event will benefit Connor Moran Children's Cancer Foundation. Since 1993, Connor Moran has provided South Florida families who are facing the uncertainty of cancer with desperately needed services and support.

This year's schedule of events include the Captain's Party on June 1 st at The Jupiter Crab House from 6PM to 7PM, 2 days of fishing, June 2nd and 3rd, and the Awards dinner at Abacoa Golf Club on June 3 rd at 6:00PM.

Over $8,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded:

• Grand Prize $3,000 for the largest overall eligible fish
• Second Prize $1,500 for the second largest overall eligible fish
• Third Prize $750 for the third largest overall eligible fish.
• In addition, prize of $500 for the largest Dolphin, Kingfish, Wahoo, Snapper and Grouper. (One prize per boat except if only one fish is caught in a species).
• The junior angler competition for those under 13 will receive a custom rod and plaque.
• Additionally, there will be raffle prizes available throughout the tournament.

The cost is $175 per boat with (4) registered anglers before May 18 and $200 after May 18, additional anglers are $50.00 each and dinner tickets are $25.00 each.
