Loggerhead Marinelife Center's Turtle Walks to Begin in June

Online Registration for Turtle Walks at Loggerhead Marinelife Center opens May 1 st.
Turtle Walks take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights in June and July. The vening begins promptly at 9PM and includes a presentation on sea turtles , and tour of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center followed by a guided walk on the beach to view a loggerhead sea turtle nest. New this year is a story time for children and coffee and water service. Wear comfortable dark clothing and shoes, bring bug repellent and be prepared for a late night walk on the beach.
Advance reservations are required, as space is limited, registration is offered exclusively online at
www.marinelife.org. Turtle Walks are $12 per person for non members and $9 per person for members. Payment is required in advance. The Center can accommodate up to 20 people per group. Sorry no refunds or rain checks, any money resulting from cancellations will go towards turtle care.
To learn more about sea turtles and the nesting habits and visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center; hours are 10 am - 5 pm Monday thru Saturday; 12 pm - 3 pm Sunday. The nonprofit organization is committed to the conservation of marine life through public education, research and rehabilitation with a focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles. In addition to providing educational programs, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center operates a sea turtle rehabilitation program, and features aquariums and other marine exhibits and is located at 14200 US Highway One in Juno Beach.
