OXBOW PRESENTS WILDLIFE FOLKLORE JUNE 14
Contributed by: Erick Gill SLC Media Relations on 6/3/2008

PORT ST. LUCIE - Join the Oxbow Eco-Center staff for a fun and somewhat silly story-time using old and new folklore on Saturday, June 14, starting at 2:30 p.m.

Native Americans used stories to help explain their natural surroundings. Enjoy some of these tales and then make up your own animal-friendly myth.

The cost is $3 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance in the gift store or by calling (772) 785-5842. All ages welcome.

The Oxbow Eco-Center is St. Lucie County's Environmental Learning Center situated on 225 acres along the St. Lucie River. The Oxbow is located at 5400 N.E. St. James Drive, 1-1/2 miles south of Midway Road in Port St. Lucie - across from the Publix Shopping Center.
