This is the summer to add creativity and art into your life! June through August The School @ The Lighthouse Center for the Arts is offering month long afternoon and evening art classes as well as one or two day weekend workshops. Classes and workshops vary from traditional journeys in painting, drawing and ceramics to non-traditional unique opportunities to explore watercolor painting with food, join a photo safari to discover the inherent beauty of the rivers and forests in our own backyard or learn the newest techniques in acrylic painting
The summer art activities @ The School are designed to allow the experienced and novice artists alike grow in new directions under the guidance of a seasoned faculty. Themes change weekly during the Lighthouse Center for the Arts' eco-friendly art day camp where budding artists learn how to respect and preserve mother earth while making art with unique materials.
EARTH CAMP runs from June 8 th until August 14 th and themes range from paper to plastics and junk yard dogs, there's even a week about to learn about the rainforest and its frogs. There are internships opportunities are for community service hours for high school and college students.
