"Today's Sunrise" on September 3, 2009 goes back in time and brings you a sunrise from 01-23-08. This image was captured looking north of the Jupiter Florida Jetty. This is where the Jupiter Inlet meets the Atlantic Ocean.

This image was shot using a Nikon D-70 mounted to a Gitzo G-1298 tripod atop a Manfrotto 322 RC2 head. The exposure was 1/4 second at f/20 with a focal length of 22 mm using a Sigma 15-30mm Aspherical lens set to ISO 200.

All of a sudden Sunrise thought he was an expatriated American living on an island where big yellow bananas grow in the sky. Then Sunrise Guy realized he was on Jupiter looking into God's morning. His eyes lite up and captured the sky.

He, Sunrise, started singing one of his songs before he packed his equipment and headed back to his bungalow by the Loxahatchee River. This song he wrote many years ago, before coming to Jupiter where he eventually changed his name to Mr. Guy. His friend Paul, now living in heaven, always said to him, "It's your story Sunrise Guy you can make ite as big as you want." This image is tilted, "The Big Banana."
