STALLION RANCH
"Today's Sunrise" from Jupiter Beach Florida goes back in time for today's, featured, sunrise image. Today is Wednesday September 23, 2009 at the Jupiter Beach Park in sunny Florida. Today the sunrise came over the horizon, lighting the ocean waters, at 7:09 am.
This image, " Stallion Ranch", was captured on 05-17-07 at 7:21 am when Sunrise Guy began his quest to capture every Jupiter Sunrise. The location of this shot, the Jupiter Beach Park, is where it all began for Sunrise Guy back in March of 2007. I was at this same location this morning, but the landscape and seascape has changed slightly. This image takes me back in time before the storms washed away the, "Stallion Ranch." It was a beautiful morning as Jesse, my black stallion, looked into my camera.
This image was shot with a Nikon D-70 at F16, 1/250 second, at ISO 200. I'll never forget that day when Jesse looked at me and said, "How long do I have to stay in this position Sunrise?" I said, "Only 1/250 second, then you can run the beach!" He ran the beach all the way to the Juno Pier before I looked up from my camera, then came back to my side. He is faster than the speed of light. I have been on his back ever day traveling the speed of light. He takes me on a daily ride, into the sunrise, down by the sea at the, "Stallion Ranch."
Another day, another dollar, to buy oats and hay and travel into the sunrise. Jesse you made my day, thank you, thank you very much.
