Streamlined Lunch Menu Sails in for Summer

Legal Sea Foods joins CityPlace neighbors to offer office escapes for the work weary

West Palm Beach, Fla. (July 5, 2007) -- Summer is officially here in South Florida, but for most of us in the working world, it means business as usual. Still, it's also the time of year when we are looking for any reason to escape the office. Legal Sea Foods asks " Why not step out for a bit and grab a quick bite?" They are just one of the many local restaurants at CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach with a new streamlined lunch menu that offers good food fast. Their menu consists of a fresh seafood bar featuring sashimi and mixed green salads. Some of the other entrees include grilled herb vinaigrette shrimp and baked stuffed lobster. They also have crab cakes and tuna burgers for those looking for a smaller plate. The menu even offers zero-proof specialty drinks inspired by celebrities like golfer Arnold Palmer and April Kramer, wife of Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer.

Legal Sea Foods general manager Steve Cohen feels their new lunch menu "is perfect for our downtown offices since it offers great tasting food that is relatively quick and easy to prepare."

Legal Sea Foods CityPlace neighbor Bellagio caters to the Italian-seeking crowd with a lunch menu that focuses on wood oven pizzas, warm focaccia bread sandwiches, risottos and any type of pasta you can imagine. Their larger meat dishes include chicken, sausage, veal and steak varieties. Another neighbor, City Cellar Wine Bar and Grill, captures the "off the grill" hungry with dishes like grilled fish and pasta pommadoro and penne with grilled children and sun-dried tomatoes. They also have blackened chicken wraps with feta cheese and hearth baked melts.

If you can't steal enough time in the day to get out of the office, your best bet is City Pizza, Field of Greens, or La Salsa where some great to-go options can be just as appetizing.
