The Tiny Mite Black Mustangs face Hurricanes, Pirates, and Ants!

Game 1: Tiny Mite Black Mustangs v. Jensen Beach Hurricanes@ the Ant Bowl in Okeechobee

The Mustangs started on Defense, and quickly made a statement. Jaquel Stroman made a game saving tackle on the 35 yard line.

Joseph LaBovick, Cameron Hanniford and Luke Lolmaugh gave 110% by repeatedly stopping the Hurricanes ground game. Michael Robinson played with intensity, and Austin Jaffres and Joseph Atterbury took it to the next level for a joint tackle. Defensive stalwarts Carmine Ramazio and Hunter Mikel stepped up and shut down the Hurricanes, and they scored no touchdowns.

Offensively recent acquisition Luke Lolmaugh scampered for 15 yds. The crowd went crazy when Michael Robinson ran the ball to the 15 yard line and handed it to Braden Barry for a 40 yard play. Michael Murgio and Trevor Sousa had motors that would not quit and dragged several defenders across the goal line as Trevor drove it in for a touchdown. The Mustangs won 6-0

Game 2: Tiny Mite Black Mustangs v. Port St. Lucie Pirates

The Mustangs started on Offense:

Luke Lolmaugh rumbled for 10 yards. With some moves right out of the playbook, Michael Robinson dashed right end-around for 10 yards, and continued to shake things up with a left end-around for 7 yards. Joseph Atterbury, Andrew Taylor and Bryce Kendrigan hustled and blocked. Joseph LaBovick carried the groceries for 40 yards, but was denied short of the goal.

On defense the Mustangs were surprised by a Pirate running back who made a quick dash to the end zone. Thereafter the Mustangs defense dug in as Nicholas Vardavas and Jacob Claytor showed there was no quit in this team. Zachary Estabrook, Ethan Fein and Eli Hill stepped up and showed the skills of the Mustangs even in the swamp on field 4.The fire ants decided they had had enough football and launched their own offensive, taking on several Mustang defensive backs, the referee, and the press.
