With back to back wins on Monday and Tuesday nights Coach Mike Lynch's JHS Lady Warriors remained undefeated and tied for first in the District with Palm Beach Lakes. On Monday the team travelled to Wellington and beat the Wolverines 60 to 35, led by Jackie Link's 21 points including four 3 pointers. The Warriors played stifling team defense holding Wellington to twelve points in the first half as they built a twenty point lead. Scoring support came from Shannon Caspar with 9 points, and Brittany Grzybowski and Carlayna Stone chipped in with 6 each.

On Tuesday the Warriors headed south again this time to battle the Lake Worth Christian Defenders in a battle of ranked teams. In a tight contest the Warriors prevailed 40 to 36. Jupiter had a twelve point lead in the second half only to see the Defenders come back to take a one point lead with one minute remaining. It was short lived as Shannon Caspar hit Megan Pino with a perfect half court in bounds pass who than took it the length of the court hitting the layup and getting fouled. Pino converted the foul shot and Jupiter led the remainder of the game with Marissa Raiford hitting two pressure free throws to seal the victory.

Becca Tassell had her second double-double of the season leading the Warriors with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Carlayna Stone hit for 9 points and 10 rebounds. Defensively, Brittany Gryzbowski and Raiford held the Defender's leading scorer Antishia Wright to 12 points, three below her average and limiting her to only two field goals.

The fifth-ranked Warriors are home Friday night at 7:30 pm against tenth-ranked Cardinal Newman in a non-District game. The undefeated Warrior's JV team tips off at 6:00 pm.
