You may have been reading about the amazingly talented Jupiter High School Baseball team. Major league prospects as well as Division 1 College and highly recruited Jr. College players litter the roster. One name isn't on the roster, but if you ask any varsity player they will tell you this kid inspires them.
Senior Ryan Lauderback has been a long time fan of Jupiter sports. He began following most of the baseball players in 6th grade at Jupiter Middle School where he parked right next to the dugout so the players could high five him in celebration. He has been to just about every home game the boys have played.
He knows baseball and you can hear him encouraging his friends. Long time friend Taylor Davis says, "Ryan is awesome. He gives us so much grief if we mess up we have to play great." Teammate Tyler Thompson agrees, "Having Ryan by the dugout cheering us on helps our whole team."
Ryan is highly competative in his own right. Headed for the DECA competition in April, his team qualified in 2nd place to compete in the national event held in Atlanta. His baseball teammates will be with him in spirit and he knows when he gets back his stats better be good or the razzing will be on.
