The 3rd and 4th grade JTAA Gold Warriors Lacrosse team sponsofred by Tevix M.D. improved their record to 7-0 by defeating the Martin County Pioneers by a score of 6-2 on Saturday March 22nd at Jupitier Community Park.
The Warriors defense was led by Hunter Parkey, Mason Kirchfeld, Drew Brown and Tyler Jerd and they did an outstanding job of keeping the Pioneers attackers out of the goal. The Warriors goalie, Alex Derrico made numerous saves and only gave the Pioneers one clean shot on goal the entire game.
Offensively the Warriors are playing like a well oiled machine. Their teamwork was exceptional with assists from Michael Dean, Drake Reichenberg, Jeff Zuccarelli and Andrew Ehrich. The Warriors completely out hustled their opponents for most of the game with notable play from Max Moran, Grant Wrightson, Zino Kuhn, Trey Steinberger, Nick Iznaga, Sean Andros, Colin King and Jonah Anderson. This team is improving their skills weekly and are looking forward to their next game against the JTAA White team here at home.
