Jr. Midget Maroon Suffer Tough Loss

Jr. Midget Maroon Mustangs, sponsored by LaRuffa Chiropractic and Wellness Center, ended regular season play with a tough loss to Palm Beach Gardens White.

The first half of the game was a close match between the two rivals. Both teams had successful drives ending in touchdowns. Unfortunately, the Mustangs were unable to complete a two point conversion and went into the half trailing 6-8. Despite trailing, momentum seemed to be on the Mustang's side as the defense stopped the Gators on 4th and goal to end the first half.

The 2nd half, the Mustangs were playing against two opponents - the Gators and themselves. The Mustangs made several errors resulting in excellent field position forGardens. The Gator were quick to take advantage and the end result was a 30-6 loss.

The Mustangs finish regular season play 6-2 and hold the 2nd seed going into the playoffs. The Mustangs will face the Palm Beach Shamrocks in the first round of playoffs in Lake Worth.
