Local Cheer Teams Sweep S.FL Fair Competition

The Palm Beach Lightning All Star cheer teams competed in the Florida Match Play Cheer and Dance Competition on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the South Florida Fair. The Palm Beach Lightning, out of North Palm Beach, consists of four competitive cheer teams that are comprised of girls and boys ages 6 yrs old -18 year olds from throughout Northern Palm Beach County.
All teams, Youth Level 2; Junior Level 2 & 3; and Senior Level 3 teams placed first in head to head match play competitions.
Next up for the Lightning teams is the "Bringing on the Heat" competition , Feb 2nd at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, followed by , The Cheer Sport Nationals in Atlanta, GA February 15th to February 18th.
