ST. LUCIE COUNTY - St. Lucie County's Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for three different Italian Soccer Camps held at various county facilities this summer.

Designed for ages 8-18, these half-day camps will provide professional soccer training from retired professional soccer players and coaches: Maurizo Verbeni, goalkeeper for SS Lazio, Sporting Club Roma, and Gilberto "Gibo" Rosi, midfield for the youth program of FC Genoa and Inter Milan FC and presently a coach for the youth program of AC JESOLO (Venice).

· July 7-11 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Lawnwood Soccer Complex, 1302 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce. Cost: $125.

· July 21-25 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., South County Stadium, 560 N.W. University Drive, Port St. Lucie. Cost: $125.

· July 28 - Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Lawnwood Soccer Complex, 1302 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce. Cost: $125.

The fee includes an "ITALIA-AZZURRI" souvenir t-shirt and certificate of participation. All participants can bring their own lunch or purchase lunch for a fee of $4 a day.
