Sports' Complex Dedication
The chant, "Go Eagles", could be heard resounding through the newly built Sports' Complex at All Saints Catholic School in Jupiter, FL when the athletes for the fall sports program took to the field. This newly completed facility has already been christened with a winning season by the boys' flag football team coached by Mr. Sean Comfort and Mr. Bruce Jones.
On November 1, 2009 at 2:00 pm, All Saints Catholic School dedicated this newest addition by the Most Rev. Gerald Barbarito, Bishop of the Diocese of Palm Beach. Though the school opened its doors in August of 2003, this final completion of the original plan took six years to be realized. This complex consists of an all-purpose play field, two full basketball courts, tennis court, baseball field, and pavilion.
The ceremony was attended by many of the school's faculty, staff, families, friends and parishioners. In addition our local Catholic high school, Cardinal Newman's Head Football Coach, Mr. Steve Walsh, addressed the audience and the CNHS Pep Band played prior to the festivities. A reception will follow in the school's Dining Hall.
The community of All Saints owes much gratitude to several generous donors who made our community's vision a reality. They are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence DeGeorge, Mr. and Mrs. Siro DeGasperis, the parents of our Home and School Association and a generous, anonymous donor. Today's students and those of our future are indebted to these benevolent donors.
