Dancers will also work on weekly acting classes to improve their presence onstage. There will be weekly workshops in other art forms including: visual arts, stage combat, magic and mime. Students will have a performance every Friday to showcase their skills.
Actors also have the luxury of a top notch education by learning the finer points of breaking down a scene for the stage, comedic and dramatic improvisation, monologue work for auditions, stage combat and a weekly theater movement workshop from a former member of the Obie award winning
Blue Man Group. Students will also get to experience comedic improvisation from members of Gated Community Improv, an improv comedy troupe touring professionally for the past three years (
