Fashion and Modeling Camp go Downtown

After being on hiatus for two years, Barbara Smoliak has found a new home for her Fashion and Modeling Camp. The new and exciting location will be held at Downtown at the Gardens.

Camp will begin on Saturday June 7,2008 and continue through June 14,21,28 and July 12,19,26. Barbara and her professional staff will give instuction covering such topics as: Modeling Technique, Health and Nutrition, Acting for Modeling (auditioning and interviewing), Pilates, Movement to Music, Hair, Nail and Skin Care, Fashion Trends and Etiquette.
Each student will have the opportunity to participate in Downtown at the Gardens "New Top Model" contest as well as "Best Designer" contest.
Students will meet Amanda Day, a past student of Miss Barbara's who is now modeling for Runways in Miami.
Optional Photo Shoots will be available and will begin on Saturday June 14.
Gregory James, Executive Producer for ESB Productions is going to visit us and audition the students to determine who will be invited to attend a "Talent Boot Camp" at Universal Studios in Orlando where all the top agents in the U.S. will be giving workshops in guiding our young talent to the next level.
Informal modeling as well as a Graduation Show will take place on Sunday July 27,2008.
Enroll your student now for a summer full of enrichment and excitement. The cost is $175 for 7 weeks and ages 5 through 20 are welcome. Applications can be picked up at the management office of Downtown at the Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens (561-515-1137) or ArtStage located at 185 E.Indiantown Rd. in Jupiter(561-747-7409).
