District 3 encompasses two hundred and four (204) square miles reaching from Belvedere Road north to Martin County line, and servicing 130,000 residents. District 3 comprises the most diverse geographical region of the entire county. Although our District is diverse in nature in respect to our geographical make-up, i.e., urban, rural, and equestrian, our plans are to create a hometown style of policing.

District 3 is divided into 3 sectors with a minimum of fourteen (14) deputies assigned to same. District 3 is also supported by a ten (10) person Community Policing Team, nine (9) Detectives, five (5) CSA's, and a nine (9) Non-Sworn Support Staff.
