FIRST BANK AND TRUST OF INDIANTOWN JOINS NATIONAL DAY OF THE AMERCIAN COWBOY CELEBRATION

First Bank and Trust of Indiantown has joined Okeechobee Main Street and the Okeechobee Cattlemen's Association as a sponsor for National Day of the American Cowboy on July 26.

National Day of the American Cowboy commemorates the spirit and integrity of Florida Cattlemen, one of the hardest-working professions in this country. The day's events kick off at 10 AM with a cattle drive starting at Flagler Park and traveling East of State Road 70 to the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center. Immediately following, Okeechobee Main Street will host a series of afternoon events including: traditional Florida cowboy story telling, whip popping demonstrations, art by the Cowboy Artist Association of Florida, barbecue and other food and children's events. At 2 PM the Cattlemen's Association will host its annual Ranch Rodeo free of charge. The Ranch Rodeo will provide spectators a true picture of what life is like for cowhands in South Florida.

To help celebrate, First Bank and Trust of Indiantown is giving away a $100 gift certificate to Eli's Western Wear. Now through July 26 locations in Okeechobee, Lakeport and Indiantown are taking registrations to win the $100 gift certificate to Eli's Western Wear. Registrations will be taken through 12 PM on July 26. One winner will be drawn during the National Day of the Cowboy festivities.

For your chance to win, stop by one of following First Bank and Trust of Indiantown locations:

  • Okeechobee - 205 East North Park Street.
  • Lakeport - 11680 E. State Road 78
  • Indiantown - 15588 SW Warfield Boulevard
