Workforce Development Board Honors Susan Kinane

The Workforce Development Board of the Treasure Coast recently honored Susan Kinane, CEO, Kinane Corporation, with the Board Member of the Year Award at the 2008 annual board meeting on June 25, 2008.

Kinane, a board member since November 2006, was recognized for her dedication and commitment to working with Board staff on advertising and marketing initiatives. Applying her years of experience and expertise in the field, she provided guidance on the production of marketing materials, as well as insight into cost-efficiencies and effective decisions.

"Susan has provided us with support from the first day she joined the Workforce Board," explained Gwenda Thompson, President/CEO. "This year, she designed our new logo when the Board decided to re-engineer our image. Her design illustrated a forward and positive movement, which is a direct reflection of Sue's personality! She is always upbeat with a 'can-do' attitude. When we need help, she is always willing to pitch in."

The new logo will be introduced with new marketing materials in late 2008.

Since 1990, Kinane Corporation - a minority-owned commercial printing business located in Stuart, FL - has provided exceptional printing, marketing and graphic design services to Treasure Coast clients.

The Workforce Development Board of the Treasure Coast is a private, 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that coordinates workforce solutions for Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. The mission of the Board is to build an integrated workforce development system for jobseekers and employers by analyzing labor market needs, effectively and efficiently coordinating the delivery of resources, programs and services, and evaluating the results for accountability.
