Cindy Hall featured for her role in building Treasure Coast Green Council
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (July 14, 2008)-Jensen Beach resident Cindy Hall, who is the operations and marketing manager for Okeechobee based Cap Stone Industries, is featured in the July/August issue of
Florida HomeBuilder magazine.
The article highlights Hall's involvement in establishing the Treasure Coast Builders Association's (TCBA) Green Building Council.
Over one year ago, Hall convinced TCBA to form a green council and she also agreed to serve as the council's chair. Hall's own company, Cap Stone Industries, specializes in pervious limestone material that absorbs water and reduces storm water runoff.
Under her direction, the TCBA Green Build Council has hosted educational seminars and table top expositions on green build, organized green certification programs for builders, and has become the voice for TCBA on green build and sustainable housing.
In addition to chairing the TCBA Green Council, Hall is the chair of the TCBA Okeechobee County Chapter, and a member of the building association's Trades Council and Membership Committee. She also was named TCBA's Associate of the Year in 2007.
Florida HomeBuilder is published bi-monthly by the Florida Home Builders Association.
