Okeechobee Main Street Elects New Board

Members of Okeechobee Main Street elected the new Board of Directors at a recent luncheon held at the Golden Corral. This is an exciting year for Main Street. Renovations on two historic buildings are underway, two mural projects are planned along with other activities. On July 28th Main Street will join with the Okeechobee Cattleman's Association and host a very special National Day of the American Cowboy, with a cattle drive down state road 70, through downtown Okeechobee, arriving at the Agricultural Fair Grounds.There will be ranch hand competition, story telling, music, BBQ chuck wagon food and fun for the whole family.
