Okeechobee Main Street has a newly elected Board of Directors for the 2008-2009 year. Our newly elected board is comprised of a versatile, energetic group who make up one of the most effective teams in the county.
Okeechobee Main Street is a 501 (C) 3 Not For Profit organization accredited with The National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Okeechobee Main Street is dedicated to the revitalization of Okeechobee County. Our success is based on a comprehensive strategy of work, tailored to local needs and opportunties in four broad areas called the Main Street Four Point Approach: design, organization, promotion and economic restructuring.
Membership in Okeechobee Main Street is open to anyone interested in helping to preserve our County's heritage. Our goal is to encourage and assist in keeping Okeechobee County a people friendly, vibrant shopping and business district for future generations.
We invite you to share your expertise and contribute toward making Okeechobee Main Street a success in historic preservation and revitalization.
