Being in my profession I get asked the same question time and time again.
How in the world can you work in the pet cremation business and deal with death all the time?
My one answer is, I work with the living.
So many times animal lovers can be looked upon as being silly for grieving the loss of a pet.
Yet the simple truth is they are so much more than just pets, they are part of our family and everyday lives.
For so many of us the loss of a beloved pet is the same as the loss of a loved one.
Yet just as when any living thing leaves this life for the next we still feel that pain and loss.
Caring for people and understanding the grief and loss is what a real profession truely is.
Sadly there is nothing we can do to help all of our clients beloved pets that have passed on.
Yet there is so much we can do to help people through a hard time.
For me that is what our company is all about, helping our clients.
So whenever anyone looks upon my profession as simply dealing with death.
I remember my clients each and every one of them.
I remember that I am here to serve my community and always do a caring job.
I remember that we treated all of our clients beloved pets just as we would expect our own pets to be treated.
But the most important thing we do is treat PEOPLE as we would wish to be treated during such a sad time.
Is my profession a sad one, yes.
But I would not trade it for any other profession in the world.
As there is not better feeling than the feeling of knowing you truly helped someone.
