Go-Karting at Martin County Kartway

South Florida Karting Association is pleased to announce go-kart racing twice a month at Martin County Kartway in Hobe Sound. The track is the only oval go karting track in South Florida. It is 1/8 mile. This newly paved asphalt track features 10 classes of go-kart racing. Classes start with 6 years olds running novice open karts. Older children run open or caged karts. Then there are adult classes: Boxstock, Senior Champ caged karts and Yamaha. Racers compete each week for points and trophies. At the end of the year, racers who have fulfilled membership requirements are eligible for an end of the year banquet and trophies.

On race day, all drivers are able to run practice laps prior to qualifying. Then drivers participate in 2- 10 lap qualifying races. The day ends with all the race classes running a feature race of 20 laps. A day at the Kartway is a fun filled family day. It is the goal of South Florida Karting to provide and promote a family atmosphere where all racers, young and old, can benefit from the racing experience in a safe and positive way.
