Golfer's Massage
Contributed by: Tania Schwarz   on 2/5/2007

Tania Schwarz knows that regardless of how well conditioned golfers are, swinging a club still results in sore and tired muscles. For that reason, Tania offers a massage technique specially designed to stretch, strengthen and stimulate muscles that are important to golfers.

The mechanics of a golf swing can cause many injuries. The most common area golfers experience injuries is the lower back. Other areas golfers complain about are the shoulder, or more specifically the rotator cuff, the left elbow, and the left wrist.

Tania designed the golfer's Massage with focus on muscles involved in the golf swing including those that provide club control, those that provide club grip, those that produce driving power, those that transfer power from the legs to the upper body (lower back group and midsection), those that produce the swinging action, and those that maintain head stability.

Tania offers both pre- and post-round massages.. The Golfers' Massage combines several techniques including deep tissue massage, facilitated stretching , Swedish massage, cross-fiber massage and hot towels.

Stretching before you golf can cause a reduction in how far you hit the ball. Therefore,Tania Schwarz, believe that the best time to stretch is after your activity. Tania incorporates facilitated stretch on her post game massages.
