Food Donation for Boating Safety Program Discount

What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS Join us for About Boating Safely - an important and timely program from the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about procedures, equipment, and other information that will help you be a safer/smarter boater. It may well be the most valuable 8 hours you ever spent. Get a $6 discount off the regular cost of $36 for bringing 5 non-perishable food items fit for a Thanksgiving dinner. All food donations will go directly to Harvest Food Bank for their free Thanksgiving dinner program for families in need. Sessions are Monday and Thursdays from 7pm - 9pm, starting Monday August 10. Come early the first night to register, or call Richard Johnson at 772-873-8893. You can also leave a message on the Flotilla phone at 772-288-0509. Many boat insurance companies give significant discounts for those who pass this course. Those who pass this course also receive the Florida Safe Boating Education card, which is required for power boat operators under 22 years of age - and smart for the rest of us to earn, too.
