The Christian Women's Club of Stuart isbusy preparing for their much-anticipated Country Fair fundraiser. Every November, the group hosts the very special luncheon that features a Silent Auction, Bake Sale, and much more. Invite your friends and neighbors, no invitation or membership necessary to attend, yet reservations are required. We welcome women of all ages and denominations to become a part of this exciting event. Donations, sponsorships, and volunteer opportunities are available. The November lunch & Country Fair will be held, Friday, November 13, 2009, from 11:30a - 1:30p, at Monarch Country Club in Palm City. The musical guest will be
Betty Saunders, Program Coordinator for the 2009 Pink Tie Gala, and Director the Sonshine Company.
Saunders holds a BM, and MM from the Eastman School of Music, since moving to Stuart five years ago,
Saunders has served as the musical director for the Barn Theatre, Shiloh, and the Maltz/Jupiter Theatre. Currently,
Saunders is the Musical Director at the Craig Wich Studio of the Performing Arts in Tequesta, and regular attendee of the Christian Women's Club of Stuart.
The featured speaker for the November luncheon will be
Mrs. Lois Schnell, former Regional Representative for the Christian Women's Club of Stuart, long-time member, and past Chair.
Schnell retired to Florida 18 years ago, yet is a New York native.
Schnell is a former fashion model with four children, and has two grandchildren.
Schnell is an artist and active member in the Palm City Arts Associates, enjoys golf, and regularly volunteers at the Treasure Coast Hospice.
The Christian Women's Club of Stuart is affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries; a Christian organization that provides educational, outreach, and community service opportunities to women across the world. Each month the Christian Women's Club of Stuart has financially supported a different Stonecroft Ministry. The Christian Women's Club of Stuart meet at the Monarch Country Club just off Martin Downs Blvd. in Palm City on the second Friday of every month, from 11:30a - 1:30p. There is no invitation needed to attend, yet reservations are indeed required. The cost of the luncheon is $18.50pp, and donations to the service projects each month are tax deductible.
