PALM CITY, Florida/February 24, 2006 – For 80 years, the American Red Cross Martin County Chapter has been a treasure to our community, providing thousands of residents, disaster victims, and members of the Armed Services with help when help was needed. On Sunday, March 5, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., the Martin County Chapter will be in search of other local treasures when it hosts an Antiques and Collectibles Appraisal Fair at Chapter headquarters, 2750 South Kanner Highway, Stuart. Linda J. Dawson, ASA Appraiser and Antiques Roadshow Specialist, is the host.

Learn more about sought-after antiques and “hot” collectibles, such as toys, dolls, Swarovski crystal, silver, jewelry, and more. Guests will be allowed to bring one special heirloom for identification and valuation. Refreshments will be served. For reservations, call Kelly McIntyre, Director of Volunteer Services, at (772) 287-2002.

Your Martin County Chapter of the American Red Cross is funded by local dollars. The Chapter receives no Federal, State or local tax funding.
