School Supplies Collection - everything from paper & pencils to backpacks & calculators is needed to help local youth get the new school year off to a good start. The Gifford Youth Activity Center welcomes donations from individuals and local businesses. Please bring school supplies or your tax deductible cash donation to Gifford Youth Activity Center, 4875 43rd Avenue in Vero Beach any weekday between 8am-5pm. GYAC Sponsor-A-Child Program - The Gifford Youth Activity Center is not a state funded organization; it is a non-profit organization that depends on public donations. Hurricane Supply Collection - New Hope Baptist Church is collecting hurricane supplies for needy families in this community. Items such as batteries, flashlights, water, canned food, tarps, etc. can be dropped-off at the church Tuesday through Thursday between noon-3pm. After hours drop-off is available by calling the church to schedule a time.
