CBF members not disappointed by Tony Barletta, and welcomed candidates!
Many of the members have known
Mr. Tony Barletta for several years as a successful Martin County businessman, and faithful Community servant, yet few knew his personal story.
Mr. Barletta did not disappoint our guests with his a charismatic presentation. A native Pennsylvanian,
Tony Barletta grew up in a strong loving family of Catholic believers. His father owned a large business with his seven brothers, and his mother owned and ran an amusement park with her seven sister-in-laws.
Tony played baseball for the University of Miami and began his professional baseball career for the LA Dodgers in 1967. An injury ended baseball for
Tony in 1971, and he began his nineteen-year career in management for Eastern Airlines. In 1989, he opened his first Allstate Insurance Agency. Quickly building up his Insurance business to three locations spanning three counties,
Tony personally received the highest award within Allstate, the Chairman's Inner Circle award many times, as his company soared to the top of sales and service.
Tony sold his businesses at peak time in 2007, and began "Florida Tropical Insurance Company" in January of 2008 with two other founding partners. He continued to hear a word from God to expand, and recently began a brand new franchise with his two stepsons, in a three county territory to build ten agencies called "Brightway Insurance".
Tony speaks about his faith in God and the power of the Holy Spirit to orchestrate an entrepreneurial business during a time of recession.
"It's all about the Kingdom!" says
Tony. He also spends much time with his wife and the four boys they share, yet is very involved in his community. A two-time chairman of the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce, and current president of the Lion's Club in Stuart, he is also on the board of Open Heavens Centers, where his wife pastors.
Tony shares with many the secret of a visionary life, and the heart of the Father. He also introduced his wife, Pastor Lynn Barletta from Open Heavens Centers; 772-283-5509. For information about their gatherings and home groups, and how you can become a part,

All of the guests were intrigued by the guest speaker, enjoyed the company of the Martin County Christian professionals, and welcomed the opportunity to meet with so many people that shared their Christian values and hopes for the future of our county.
