Kristina Messinger, granddaughter of Deena Messinger of Palm City, along with her best friend, Alison, spent the past 4 years letting their hair grow. They decided that on Kristina's 14th birthday, they would give a present to someone else - their beautiful hair. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Kristina and Alison are truly beautiful inside and out.
