New hairdo for love

Jen Chamberlin a 5th grader at Bessey Creek Elementary had ahair raising experience over Christmas break. She cut off 12 inches of her hair to send in to "Locks of Love". It all began a few months ago when Jen, who has had long hair for years and really loved her long hair, decided she wanted to share something she loves with someone who was unable to have it. Thats when she heard of giving her hair for Locks of Love. She decided she could make a difference and in November she entered a reflections contest that she wrote about giving her hair to Locks of Love.The title: "Ican make a difference by cutting my hair for Locks of Love". So, this month she made an appointment at Michael Leonard's Salon in Palm City and they cut her hair off and gave her a new hairdo. At first Jen was scared, but now she has a fresh new look to start the New Year!
